Max is an award-winning journalist who brings more than 13 years of experience across B2B brands in the food and drink, healthcare and manufacturing sectors.

He believes in the importance of magazine brands championing the sector they serve and spreading best practice to their readers. His most recent initiative was the Manufacturing Champions Awards, which celebrates the people whose pride and professionalism enable British manufacturing success. The award scheme won a Highly Commended prize in the Event of the Year category of the Professional Publishers Awards (PPA)- the Oscars of the UK's media industry. Max has extensive experience as an editor in roles at Works Management, Engineering Careers and as a news editor on pharmacy weekly, Chemist & Druggist magazine. His time at the latter saw the magazine force a U- turn from the UK government over plans to strip pharmacists of the right to sell common cold and flu remedies. The magazine's 'Stop the Switch' campaign delivered a 10,000 strong reader petition to the Department of Health and won multiple awards. When not tapping at the keyboard, Max appears as a host at industry conferences, roundtables and debates. He is a Biochemistry graduate who retrained as a journalist in 2003.

Andy leads ICF/SH&E's Airline practice in London as a Principal, and has over 24 years’ experience in the aviation industry, having worked for a number of airlines including British Airways, easyJet and Wizz Air in senior positions. His expertise lies primarily in the areas of airline operations, ground operations and ground handling. During his career, Andy has frequently had direct responsibility for the delivery of continuous operational improvement against a backdrop of rapid growth in challenging environments. He has held and managed roles and projects ranging from the operational transformation of airline and handling operations, the development and delivery of new safety and punctuality processes and procedures, and the procurement of services at ever-reducing unit costs. Having managed airport operations, pilot and cabin crew operations and Operations Control, and consulted for clients in all of these areas, Andy is able to offer deep expertise across all of the main elements of airline and ground handling operations.

Yacoob is the Executive Vice President, Gateway Services of SATS. He is responsible for further developing the Group's competencies in Gateway Services to support its growth across the region. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President, Food Solutions where he expanded its competencies to include sports catering. Prior to that, he held the concurrent appointments of Acting Executive Vice President, Gateway Services and Senior Vice President, Cargo Services, and led the Group's entry into the cruise handling business. Yacoob has assumed various positions including Vice President, Cargo, Vice President, SATS Inflight Catering Centre 2 and other managerial positions in apron and baggage, passenger services, and marketing, as well as SIA Ground Services during which he was responsible for ground procedures and contracts. Yacoob sits on the Boards of a number of SATS' subsidiaries and associated companies. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree, majoring in English.

The Founder and Executive Chairman of the ASE Group, Mohamed has over 38 years' experience with reputable international aviation and travel-related organisations and has worked in different international airports in Europe and the MENA region. Mohamed started his career in 1974 with Alitalia and later moved to Hapag-Lloyd Flug, Thomas Cook Overseas, Egytrav and Aero Lloyd. He subsequently went on to establish the ASE Group. Mohamed has been an active participating member of the IATA Ground Handling Council since 1992 and of the AGSA since 1993. He is now actively involved in the development and strategy of the ISAGO Task Force and oversight committees, as well as the IGOM initiative. In May 2008 he was elected Vice-Chairman of the IGHC and re-elected in May 2010. In 2011 Mohamed was invited to become a board Member of ASA. In 2012, as an elected officer of the IGHC, he was appointed by IATA's Operations Committee as an Officer of the newly formed Ground Handling Council.

She has supported aviation clients across more than 10 countries in Asia, including Japan, India, Philippines, South Korea, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar and Nepal, and has a particular focus on Thai law and jurisdiction. Michael’s professional credentials include nearly six years leading the training and HR development of two spas in Asia. In 2004 he created a partnership with Dr Bill Gould, co-developing his programme of Transformational Thinking. Together, they introduced radical new concepts to the corporate world,including the Free Thinking Zone and the Twenty Attributes of the Human Spirit.

In 2008 Michael founded Provolution and in 2010, Michael became the first trainer to write a programme for the Marriott International in Thailand. His Cultural Sensitivity Programme is now delivered annually to expatriate and Thai executives across the company.

Describing himself as a senior leader with a demonstrated capability to deliver genuine transformational change, Todd has had a varied career in aviation. He was Head of Airports at QantasLink from 2012 to 2016, based in Sydney, before moving on to become Head of Catering Excellence and Integration at Qantas. In November he moved to Jetstar to take up the post of Head of Ground Operations; he is now based in Melbourne.

Albert (Al) is a retired US government diplomat and commissioned field grade officer who has transitioned into an entrepreneur. He has extensive experience in south-east Asian affairs and geopolitical matters, having been a US Government regional adviser in the area for almost a decade.

His experience ranges from metrology to human resource management through international affairs and strategic relations. He has further been a coach and consultant to several Fortune 500 companies, including Honeywell and Chevron. A holder of two Master's degrees (National Security Affairs and Resource Management), Al also has a degree in Education and an Associate’s degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. He is currently taking a PhD in Organisation Development.

Kate Seaton

Kate is a member of the aerospace team at HFW. She has experience in advising a wide range of clients in the aviation industry, acting mainly for airlines (in respect of cargo, baggage, personal injury and third party claims), airport authorities, helicopter operators and ground handlers, and has advised upon and pursued subrogated actions on behalf of insurers. Kate has experience in handling claims in many jurisdictions within the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and India, with a particular focus on Thai law and jurisdiction. She is also currently handling a number of total GA losses in Indonesia and West Papua, acting for the aircraft operators and their insurers/reinsurers. Kate qualified in 2004 and prior to joining HFW in January 2012, she was a senior associate in the aviation department at Clyde and Co.
